The hotel was impeccably clean and quite new. The twin bedroom provided ample space, more generous than typically found in similar establishments in Japan. The staff consistently offered friendly and helpful service throughout my stay (I found them polite). Breakfast offered many delicious options. There was also a convenience store and Starbucks nearby.
The absence of readily available information about local transport options proved somewhat inconvenient. I think, a more detailed guide or assistance from staff would have improved this aspect. This would help guests navigate more efficiently.

Excellent Hotel Near the Station!

The location was SUPER convenient, only a short walk from Umekoji Kyoto Station! I really appreciated the attentive housekeeping. Fresh toiletries looked daily. Plus, using the luggage delivery service was SO easy and made check-in easy late at night!
The room was quite small and I didn't have much space to walk around. It was a bit difficult to manage, especially with extra luggage.

The breakfast buffet offered a varied selection and the dining space felt well-organized! They opened an additional dining area when it became crowded. Guests can exchange their breakfast tickets for lunch or dinner, providing flexibility.

the room was clean and the location was near public transport.
I found some aspects disappointing . the bathroom had a persistent mildew odor, which i found unpleasant. We needed to keep the door closed. also, the coffee provided in the room was not to my liking. It tasted quite bitter and stale.

The hotel is very close to the station. This made getting around easy. A convenience store is connected to the lobby. This was very useful for snacks and drinks. The staff was nice too.
The room felt pretty small to me. It was difficult to move around, especially with luggage. The bathroom area was small too. There is not much to do around the hotel. I had to take the train to find restaurants.
